StuV department for transport and public transport

The bus is always late or too crowded?
The change to the railway simply never fits in time?
You have questions about the semester tickets?
Do you have any idea how it would be better on bus and train?

Then we are your contact person!

Something doesn't suit you here? We'll help you!

We help you in all topics around bus and train. We communicate your worries and needs to politicians, transport companies and the Heilbronner Verkehrsverbund (HNV), with whom we are in direct contact, and represent our interests as students.

At the beginning of each semester we sell the HNV semester ticket at the Heilbronn campus.

We are actively involved in improving public transport connections to the education campus and the Sontheim campus. In particular, we would like to change the poor accessibility of the Sontheim education campus and the main railway station and are in contact with those responsible for this. In particular, we would like to improve the bus service and make regular stops for all regional trains at the Heilbronn-Sülmertor stop (which, after all, is located directly on the education campus!). We are also keeping a close eye on the tense parking situation on the education campus.

Due to the corona pandemic, our work has unfortunately also been limited. Because: In online semesters and without classroom teaching there are no students who might have problems with bus, train or parking. However, since public transport is always planned on a long-term basis, our work continues with analysing the planning and representing the students' needs.

For our work in the department, we are therefore still looking for students who are interested in working on their interests, in exchange and networking in the public transport sector.

Curious? You have questions? ideas? suggestions?
We are looking forward to you and your message!
