In cooperation between the central quality committee (ZQA), the AStA and the library LIV we now offer a laptop rental. The offer is valid for all students currently enrolled at HHN, as well as for guests in a semester abroad.
Your old laptop has given up the ghost and your money is tight? We have the solution: The brand new Fujitsu LIFEBOOK U7410 laptops with impressive 14-inch display, powerful i5 processor and 16 GB RAM are ready for you.
So that you are well equipped, you will not only receive the laptop, but also a practical mouse, a high-quality headset and a carrying bag. So you are prepared for all requirements!
The best part? You can use the laptop for the entire semester! However, if you only need a laptop for a short time for a project or your exams, you can of course return it earlier. We even welcome that explicitly!
The loan of the equipment is done through LIV and that means: It doesn’t cost you a cent. Provided that you return everything on time and in perfect condition. So you can use this offer completely free of charge!

Procedure laptop rental
1. registration
- Standalone Order via the LIV online catalog
- Giving “AStA Laptop” in the search bar and then click on “Order/Prebook”
- After successful registration you will receive a booking confirmation
2nd issue/collection

- After receiving the booking confirmation, please make an appointment for the Collection agree.
- On the day of collection, please bring a valid student ID or certificate of enrollment.
The devices are available to students at all campuses, but are currently only issued at Sontheim.
3. extension
Email to: info∂liv-bib.de
- A Extension by one additional semester is possible in principle.
- Send a request to the LIV for this purpose.
- Please include the following info in the request:
Name, matriculation number, device number
4. return
Email to: service-hn∂asta.hs-heilbronn.de
- The Return will take place again in Sontheim. Please make an appointment by mail.
The timing of this submission is critical to meeting the return deadline.
5. conclusion
After returning the equipment, it will be checked for possible defects, which may take some time depending on the work situation of our technical support. As soon as this check is completed without any complaints, the loan will be charged to your LIV account. If there are any complaints, you will be informed by LIV about the facts and possible fees.
