In coop­er­a­tion between the cen­tral qual­i­ty com­mit­tee (ZQA), the AStA and the library LIV we now offer a lap­top rental. The offer is valid for all stu­dents cur­rent­ly enrolled at HHN, as well as for guests in a semes­ter abroad.

Your old lap­top has giv­en up the ghost and your mon­ey is tight? We have the solu­tion: The brand new Fujit­su LIFEBOOK U7410 lap­tops with impres­sive 14-inch dis­play, pow­er­ful i5 proces­sor and 16 GB RAM are ready for you.

So that you are well equipped, you will not only receive the lap­top, but also a prac­ti­cal mouse, a high-qual­i­ty head­set and a car­ry­ing bag. So you are pre­pared for all requirements!

The best part? You can use the lap­top for the entire semes­ter! How­ev­er, if you only need a lap­top for a short time for a project or your exams, you can of course return it ear­li­er. We even wel­come that explicitly!

The loan of the equip­ment is done through LIV and that means: It does­n’t cost you a cent. Pro­vid­ed that you return every­thing on time and in per­fect con­di­tion. So you can use this offer com­plete­ly free of charge!

1. reg­is­tra­tion

    • Stand­alone Order via the LIV online catalog
    • Giv­ing “AStA Lap­top” in the search bar and then click on “Order/Prebook
    • After suc­cess­ful reg­is­tra­tion you will receive a book­ing confirmation

2nd issue/collection

Email to: ser­vice-hnasta.hs-heilbronn.de

    • After receiv­ing the book­ing con­fir­ma­tion, please make an appoint­ment for the Col­lec­tion agree.
    • On the day of col­lec­tion, please bring a valid stu­dent ID or cer­tifi­cate of enrollment.

The devices are avail­able to stu­dents at all cam­pus­es, but are cur­rent­ly only issued at Sontheim.

3. exten­sion

    • A Exten­sion by one addi­tion­al semes­ter is pos­si­ble in principle.
    • Send a request to the LIV for this purpose. 
    • Please include the fol­low­ing info in the request:
      Name, matric­u­la­tion num­ber, device number

4. return

Email to: ser­vice-hnasta.hs-heilbronn.de

    • The Return will take place again in Son­theim. Please make an appoint­ment by mail.

The tim­ing of this sub­mis­sion is crit­i­cal to meet­ing the return deadline.

5. con­clu­sion

After return­ing the equip­ment, it will be checked for pos­si­ble defects, which may take some time depend­ing on the work sit­u­a­tion of our tech­ni­cal sup­port. As soon as this check is com­plet­ed with­out any com­plaints, the loan will be charged to your LIV account. If there are any com­plaints, you will be informed by LIV about the facts and pos­si­ble fees.
