The purpose of our association, as we have written it in our statutes, is the promotion of “education and upbringing, especially of young people, as well as an international mindset and cross-border tolerance”.

HHN E‑Racing is the electric department at the Campus Künzelsau of HHN Racing e.V. Our goal is to provide a second vehicle with innovative electric drive for the Formula Student competition in addition to the vehicle with combustion engine developed in Heilbronn.

HHN Racing e.V.

Board of Directors
Jan Beck
Maximilian Balko

HHN Racing is the Formula Student Team of Heilbronn University.

For the Formula Student competition, the participating students design, construct and build a formula racing car according to specified regulations within one year. After its completion, the individual teams meet at the worldwide competitions to present their racing cars to an expert jury with judges from the automotive industry and Formula 1 and to compete against each other in various disciplines.
The participating students thus already gain practical experience during their studies and can deepen their theoretical knowledge from the lectures. In addition to the areas of development, design and manufacturing, this also applies to teamwork, project management and marketing.

Medical Informatics Initiative

Board of Directors
Despina Hatzopoulou
Berit Pauls

The MI initiative takes care of the concerns of MI students and offers every MI student the opportunity to get involved outside of lectures and to actively participate in everyday study life. By getting involved in the various working groups, it is possible to dispel the prejudices of socially incompetent computer scientists. Not only do we plan joint excursions, bike tours and parties, but we even go skiing with our lecturers every year.

Speaking of skiing, in order to break the ice between the initiative and our first-year students, we organize a welcome get-together every semester at which not only students but also many of our lecturers can be found. In a pleasant atmosphere, freshmen have the chance to meet and get to know fellow students from higher semesters and lecturers already in the first week. This informal atmosphere is a special feature of the program and the initiative.

We are the only student fraternity in Heilbronn and the oldest student association at Heilbronn University. We see ourselves as a community of current and former students, who act according to the democratic basic order of the Federal Republic of Germany and also allow other opinions besides their own. We are politically neutral, non-denominational and open to members of all nationalities.

Master Choir Heilbronn

Choir direction
Steffen Utech

In cooperation with Heilbronn University, Liederkranz Heilbronn e.V. launched the “MasterChor” project in January 2015: Above all, international master’s students, but of course also all other young people in Heilbronn, are to be given the opportunity to get to know young people from the region and to feel at home in Heilbronn by singing in a modern choir. Singing together brings people together and connects them.

Perspektive Wein eG- The cooperative of the HHN

Board of Directors
Prof. Dr. Ruth Fleuchaus
Regina Leimbach

Perspektive Wein eG is the student teaching company of the Wine Marketing and Management (WMM) degree program (formerly International Wine Management or Wine Business Administration) at Heilbronn University.

The company is managed by students who pursue the goals of this company with passion, profession and success. Under the motto „Teaching-Practice-Competence” they put their theoretically acquired marketing and wine knowledge into practice and thus demonstrate their creativity and skills.

ProVino e.V.

One way to get involved is ProVino e.V., the student association of the Wine Marketing and Management program.

We at ProVino are an association “by students — for students”. This includes, for example, taking care of the first-year students of the International Wine Management course, excursions to the German wine-growing regions or the organization of the annual Wine Forum. We organize parties for IWM students but also for all others who are interested in wine.

SMD Heilbronn: Christian university group

SMD Heilbronn stands for Student Mission Germany and is part of a Germany-wide network of Christian university groups.

Our mission is to get to know Jesus and experience him together with you. Whether you’ve been Best Buddies for a long time or you haven’t heard of him yet, let’s go on a search for clues together and discover who Jesus really is! To do this, we’ll look at exciting eyewitness accounts and stories in the Bible, inviting Jesus to introduce himself to us in the process. We also like to play fun games, go out to eat and have a really cool time together!

Sneep e.V.

Board of Directors
Christian Kroll
Alexandra Wittfoth

sneep stands for “student network for ethics in economics and practice” and as a student network forms an interface between science, economics and politics. Our association aims to stimulate critical discourse on ethical and sustainable economics in theory and practice. As a multidisciplinary network of students, trainees, doctoral candidates and young professionals, we want to bring sustainability and ethics more strongly into business and science.

We want to encourage people to think outside the boundaries of classical economics and thus identify possibilities for doing business in the 21st century.

StAF Künzelsau e.V.

As our name suggests, we take care of the students’ everyday life and leisure activities at the Künzelsau campus, be it the organization of parties at the university, the all-semester pub crawl for the freshmen through Künzelsau or other events at the Reinhold-Würth-Hochschule in Künzelsau.

Tourism & Hospitality Management e.V.

The Student Council in the Department of Tourism Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management

Turkish Campus e.V. — Heilbronn University

Turkish Campus e.V. was founded by students of Turkish origin in order to provide a regular exchange of ideas, as well as university and education-related information between students.

Even though the target group of our founders were our own compatriots, we would like to change this and offer our support and events to ALL students, no matter if you are a newcomer, an experienced student, a former graduate or an alumnus. It is not important to us which nation or religion you belong to; it is the person who counts.
