Online Seminar: Global Values? Ethics of the Global Society

Complex interdependencies in the economy and growing interdependence; global crises such as climate change, biodiversity loss, injustice, spirals of hatred; global challenges such as resource management, coping with disasters and conflicts... need a common basis of shared values that are recognized across nations, cultures, religions.

What are the approaches to global values? How are they derived, justified, communicated? What role do they play in global events?

This is an event of the Unit for technology and science (rtwe). The rtwe was founded in 1991 as a central institution of the state universities of applied sciences of Baden-Württemberg. Its task is to support the offering and establishment of the subjects of ethics and sustainable development at the universities within the framework of the funding program for ethics in technology and science.
