Jason Shepherd is VP of Ecosystem at edge orchestration company ZEDEDA and a Board Member for the Linux Foundation’s LF Edge organization. Prior to joining ZEDEDA, Jason was CTO for the Dell Technologies Edge and IoT Solutions Division. His proven track record as a thought leader in the market is evidenced through his leadership building up the award-winning Dell IoT Solutions Partner Program, establishing the open source EdgeX Foundry project to facilitate greater IoT interoperability, and leading the formation of the Linux Foundation’s Project Alvarium to foster data trust at scale. He speaks and writes regularly on technology topics such as edge computing, IoT, AI, 5G, Digital Twin and Ecosystems and has been recognized as one of the Top 100 Industrial IoT influencers. He holds over forty granted and pending US patents.
Tom is a globally-recognized authority in the digital and sustainability space and also CEO of ClimateCHECK, a professional services company specialized in innovative solutions and assurance for climate and cleantech. Tom is co-founder of DigitalMRV, a joint solution of ClimateCHECK and IOTA Foundation. Tom is also co-chair of the Climate Chain Coalition, an open global multi-stakeholder network of over 300 organizations in 50 countries focused on advancing blockchain and related digital solutions to enhance climate actions. Since 2007, Tom also co-founded the GHG Management Institute as the global society of MRV professionals, as well as Xpansiv as an ESG commodities digital solution. Tom is currently co-leading an Open Collaboration with IOTA and Gold Standard to develop guidance to digitize MRV standards and solutions.
Perrine represents the French government in the European Blockchain Partnership. She is a civil servant of the University of Lille, where she works in particular on Blockchain & Open Education. In 2017 Perrine began hosting a national working group on Blockchain technologies in an educational context. After having sent nearly 20,000 verifiable credentials to its students in 2022, the objective of the University of Lille is to issue them into the European Blockchain Service Infrastructure (EBSI) and to open their first wallet compatible with EBSI. She is also part of the DIAL4U, an Erasmus+ project aiming to recognize the competences in teaching and learning foreign languages thanks to open badges. Perrine has also been “digital expert for higher education, Europe and International” at the French Ministry for Higher Education and Research.
Adding trust to supply chains. Jens brings 20 years of international experience bringing together blockchain/DLT, international trade and partnership methodology to change how supply chains are upgraded for full digitization. Whether it is circular economy, trade facilitation, fighting counterfeit products or upgrading consumer engagements, the core infrastructure is the same and will fundamentally change international trade. Jens is an expert advisor to the UK Parliament, World Economic Forum and corporations. Earlier employers include A. P. Moller — Maersk and pwc. Jens is also a pioneer in building public-private partnerships to enable better trade for all, including co-founder of the Global Alliance for Trade Facilitation (www.tradefacilitation.org) and the Logistics Emergency Teams with the World Food Programme. Jens has an executive MBA from INSEAD and a master in Philosophy from Copenhagen University.
