The hang gliding club HGC Einkorn e.V. in Schwäbisch Hall has a great offer for you: Kite taster days in WiSe 2022/23.
What happens at the hang gliding taster day?
- Presentation and film clips on training, equipment, costs.
- Joint assembly of the kites on the practice slope - Presentation of the equipment
- Ground-based run-take-off and landing exercises on the training slope with professional flight instructor supervision
No previous knowledge is necessary. The training material is provided in its entirety. The participants are insured by the supervising flight school.
What you need to bring is an interest in a fascinating aerial sport that comes closest to bird flight, fun, physical fitness and sturdy shoes as well as heavy-duty long pants (if available, knee pads and gloves with a good grip are also welcome).
The reduced taster day fees are 50 € for you. The fees only apply if the taster day can be carried out and do not need to be paid in advance.

The taster days will take place, weather permitting, on the following Saturdays (alternate date on Sundays) in late 2022:

Depending on the weather forecast, the confirmation of the taster day and final information will take place on Thursday evening or at the latest on Friday afternoon before the taster weekend. The taster day can be cancelled in case of unsuitable weather or too few participants.
Duration from 09:00 to approx. 16:30 - Theoretical introduction in the community center in Oberfischach near Schwäbisch Hall / exercises on practice slopes near Schwäbisch Hall.
