Schwarz Campus Service have received approval for the long-planned construction work on the (student) Parking garage east received at Dammstraße 1. This has caused a closure of this parking area from September 23 as a result. (The Parking lot east is still available).
This measure around the one-way street situation Sichererstraße/Dammstraße will create a great relief in the traffic situation in the approach and exit to the parking garage.
Overview of the construction work on the East multi-storey parking lot
- Duration: September 23 - October 12
- Areas:
- Parking garage east (discounted parking students with CampusCard) closed
- Parking lot east (discounted parking students with CampusCard) usable
- Alternate space for students:
- Discounted parking is available in the experimenta parking garage with the CampusCard (daily rate and 30-day ticket).
- The 10 days flex ticket is valid in the parking lot east and not in the parking garage experimenta
- Construction work:
- What: The access road for the parking garage east, will be moved from Dammstrasse to Sichererstrasse (see illustration).
- Why: Due to the one-way street regulation in the "Sichererstrasse", it is much easier to drive in by car.
- Where will be cordoned off: The entrance to the parking garage will be fully closed. The Sichererstraße and Dammstraße are passable with slight restrictions.
