20 days of pure cinema in the courtyard of the WG Heilbronn

A balmy night, a good movie and the stars twinkle above the main characters. Since Wednesday, July 27, 2022 until Monday, August 15, 2022 you can get at the 21st Kreissparkasse Open-Air Cinema Heilbronn enjoy great movies under the open sky.

After two years of "Pandemic" cinema, this year visitors can look forward again to the well-known and appreciated open-air cinema as in the years before: 20 days with the best films of the past months, the best picture on the 128 sqm big screen and the best open-air cinema sound. The capacity is again 1500 seats and everyone can choose their own seat on site. Therefore, who comes early, secures his favorite seat.

Admission and pre-program from 19:00 h

Before the film starts, visitors can expect an Oscar-worthy look as well as a selection of the best that the Heilbronn wine garden has to offer. The cooperative winery offers all kinds of liquid delicacies at its wine tasting booth. Of course, there will again be freshly prepared popcorn, ice cream and other nibbles. And in the cinema hall, a varied pre-show program with live music, dancing, shows and much more will provide entertainment. The wellness corner with hairdresser and massage also returns.

Film starts at nightfall at 9:15 pm

Then, when it gets dark, the stars shine on the screen. Great cinema with wonderful comedies, romantic love stories, exciting adventures, thrilling thrillers as well as fantasy and science fiction films provide the highlight of the movie nights.

Tickets online and at the box office - Ticket prices (incl. fees)

This year, tickets are available in advance online and at the box office. A stationary advance sale cannot be offered. Diginights, the ticketing partner, is currently unable to offer a box office system certified in accordance with the rules of the German Association of Film Distributors (VdF). For this year, Diginights only received a limited transitional license. But it is working closely with the VdF to be certified next year.

  • Studi-Ticket: 9,00 € (only at the box office upon presentation of the student ID)
  • Day ticket: 12,00€
  • Lounge ticket: 30,00€ incl. entrance + covered lounge place + 15,- € consumption (wine garden, WG stand, snack stand) + small bag of popcorn
  • Group ticket: 10,00 € per person (from 6 to max. 20 persons)
  • Family ticket: 9,00 € per person (valid for 2 adults + up to own 3 children up to 16 years)

The wellness corner is back

After two years of pandemic break, the wellness corner is back. For a minimum donation of €10, you can enjoy a massage or a new haircut. The net proceeds go to "Menschen in Not", the relief campaign of the Heilbronner Stimme. At the start are the hairdressers neckHAARsulm from Neckarsulm, Hairfashion Sibylle from Bad Rappenau and Wolfgang Krämer from Heilbronn. Massages will be provided by Sandra Eckstein with Ki-Balance, Henriette Rudolf and the Shiatsu Network, and Petra Maier TouchLife-Massages.

There is music in it

Many regional musicians play in the supporting program. But even longer distances are accepted to be able to perform on the open-air cinema stage. From the region come the singer-songwriter Philipp Lumpp from Neuenstadt, the jazz duo Derzenbach & Fuchs from Neckarsulm, the guitarist Josh from Heilbronn, the "Schmachtfetzer" Marcus & Ben from Weinsberg. From afar come the Berlin-based Canadian folk-pop multi-instrumentalist Adam Wendler and the Frankfurt singer-songwriter Lauryn Mark. Once again, the Open Air Cinema Band (OAK Band for short) will be playing for a good cause on all three Mondays, namely for a donation to "Menschen in Not".

Open air cinema dances

The dance performances include an open-air classic: The show group of the TSG Heilbronn Movement Center presents excerpts from StepAerobics, Zumba, DanceAerobics, Jumping and HipHop. The Tanzwerkstatt Obersulm presents itself with an entertaining show of ballet, modern, contemporary, jazz dance, hip-hop and Zumba. And the association KunST 07 Heilbronn e.V. presents a colorful program from Revuetanz, New Stylz to Jazz- and Modern Dance.

Girls' night out with VIVA fashion show on Thursday, August 4, 2022

Traditionally, there is the girls' night on Thursday, August 4, where men are of course also welcome. What better film to set the mood for the already legendary fashion show of Boutique VIVA Petra Kern than "House of Gucci" with Lady Gaga?

Radio Sound Family Day on Saturday, August 6, 2022

The "Minions" entice with "In Search of the Mini Boss" to the family day on Saturday, August 6. In addition to the normal tickets, there is the family ticket for 2 adults and up to 3 children for 9 euros per person.

Intermission show with the Obersulm photo club

During the film breaks, the Fotoclub Obersulm e.V. presents a picture-perfect photo show with partly award-winning works.

About the Open Air Cinema Heilbronn

The open-air cinema Heilbronn was launched in 2002 by xmedia Agentur für Markt-Kommunikation GmbH. Since then, the cinema hall has been located on the premises of the cooperative winery Heilbronn. In 2022, a new anchor partner could be won with the Kreissparkasse Heilbronn.
