On July 1, 2022, Stadtwerke Heilbronn launched its new flexible buddy night shuttle service. This will initially replace the existing night bus as a pilot project. The new mobility service can be booked via the SWHN app, which also appeared on July 1, 2022.

When Heilbronn night owls want to make their way home this summer, they can simply call buddy - because your buddy will drive you home. buddy - that's the new flexible on-demand shuttle service from Heilbronn's municipal utility company, which will replace the classic night bus from July 01, 2022. The new mobility service is designed as a pilot project and is initially limited to two years.

Your buddy comes when you need him

Booking the shuttle is quick and easy via the new SWHN app: passengers simply enter the desired departure time and destination, and the SWHN app immediately shows them the nearest stops.

Your buddy comes where you are

You can get on and off the bus at any of the approximately 200 public transport stops in Heilbronn and Flein. In addition to the regular stops, there are a few more virtual buddy stops at locations that are particularly relevant for nightlife.

Your buddy rides for a friendship price

One buddy ride costs maximum 5,00 €, for passengers with HNV subscription or valid HNV ticket even only 2.50 € - no matter how long the route is!

Your buddy will bring you home safely

The short walking distances to the next stop increase the feeling of safety in the late hours. The driving personnel are also sensitized to the special requirements of night service.

Your buddy is sustainable

Passengers with similar routes are automatically bundled by the system, which reduces CO² emissions, relieves road congestion and shortens waiting times for everyone.

The SWHN App & FAQ's

The SWHN app has been available for download in the App Store and Google Play Store since 01 July 2022. From this date, the buddy night transport can also be booked.
