First Bil­dungscam­pus Chal­lenge — Think Zero launched!

The first joint ideas com­pe­ti­tion of Heil­bronn Uni­ver­si­ty and the Dieter Schwarz Foun­da­tion on the top­ic of sus­tain­abil­i­ty has begun!

Whether heat­ing build­ings or trav­el­ing to the Dieter Schwarz Foundation’s Bil­dungscam­pus, cli­mate-dam­ag­ing car­bon diox­ide is often pro­duced, pol­lut­ing the environment.

For this rea­son, the Bil­dungscam­pus in Heil­bronn has set itself the goal, among oth­er things, of reduc­ing emis­sions of cli­mate-dam­ag­ing car­bon diox­ide as part of its sus­tain­abil­i­ty strat­e­gy and of achiev­ing CO₂-neu­tral.

Against this back­ground, the LOGWERT Com­pe­tence Cen­ter, togeth­er with Dieter Schwarz Stiftung, has in recent weeks launched the ideas com­pe­ti­tion Think zero devel­oped as part of the first Bil­dungscam­pus Chal­lenge. Under this mot­to, ideas are being sought to reduce CO₂-reduc­ing impact at Bil­dungscam­pus and bring us clos­er to our goal of a car­bon-neu­tral cam­pus in 2030. With the Bil­dungscam­pus Chal­lenge Think zero is to lever­age the exist­ing knowl­edge and research poten­tial of the many young and cre­ative peo­ple to fos­ter inno­v­a­tive ideas to achieve car­bon neu­tral­i­ty on the Bildungscampus.

Entries can be sub­mit­ted in the area of liv­ing, learn­ing and work­ing on cam­pus as well as for the spe­cial prize Sus­tain­able Mobil­i­ty, which is award­ed by the LOGWERT Com­pe­tence Center.
