Coro­na bylaws expire August 31

The Uni­ver­si­ty Sen­ate has announced that the Coro­na Bylaws will no longer be renewed. As such, it will expire on August 31 and will no longer be applic­a­ble for the upcom­ing 2021/2022 win­ter semester.

What exact­ly does that mean?

The Coro­na Bylaws came into effect at the begin­ning of the pan­dem­ic. The aim of the reg­u­la­tion is to be able to guar­an­tee you good study suc­cess and progress even dur­ing the pan­dem­ic and to mit­i­gate dis­ad­van­tage com­pen­sa­tion as far as pos­si­ble. There­fore, res­o­lu­tions were passed to ensure that you can pre­pare for exams and study under dif­fi­cult conditions.

  • Addi­tion­al semes­ter (dead­line extension)
  • Exten­sion of the cri­te­ria for leave of absence
  • Addi­tion­al facil­i­ta­tions for the intern­ship semester
