Exten­sion of the Coro­na Statutes for the win­ter semes­ter 20/21

This win­ter semes­ter, too, the pan­dem­ic is forc­ing us to con­duct most of our stud­ies and teach­ing online.To a large extent, this is now work­ing very well — teach­ers and stu­dents have more rou­tine and have been able to adjust to the tech­ni­cal requirements. 

How­ev­er, many of the chal­lenges of study­ing online have remained.For this rea­son, the HHN Sen­ate has extend­ed the Coro­na Statute — a dis­ad­van­tage com­pen­sa­tion for stu­dents — for one semester. 

We are pleased that all HHN stu­dents thus have the chance to study as care­free and suc­cess­ful­ly as pos­si­ble even under Coro­na conditions. 

Cor­ner­stone of the Coro­na Statutes

1.Study and exam­i­na­tion achieve­ments are auto­mat­i­cal­ly can­celled in the event of fail­ure. So will not pass exams,notcount­ed. If you want a failed exam to count, you must noti­fy the Aca­d­e­m­ic Department. 

2. dead­line reg­u­la­tion: stu­dents will again receive an addi­tion­al semes­ter, which means that themax­i­mum peri­od of study is extend­ed by one semes­ter (with­out appli­ca­tion). For Bachelor’s degree pro­grams with sev­en semes­ters, the Bachelor’s pre­lim­i­nary exam­i­na­tion takes place after the fifth or sixth semes­ter. In addi­tion, appli­ca­tions for dead­line exten­sions can still be submitted. 

3. rea­sons for theRequest­ing a semes­ter offhave been adjust­ed to the cur­rent sit­u­a­tion, and the dead­line in these cas­es has been sus­pend­ed. You can read the rea­sons in detail in the Arti­cles of Association. 

4. dur­ing the intern­ship semes­ter, alsoTele­work­ing time rec­og­nizedand the work­ing days to be com­plet­ed can be reduced upon request.
